One Day industrial Motivation Campaign

ARPAN & MSME organized one day Seminar.

"Association of Rural People of A&N Islands (ARPAN)", in association with Micro Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) Developmental institute, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India  organized One Day industrial Motivation Campaign on 12.01.2010 in the premises of community hall, Mithakhari befittingly. Shri.Mohd Safiq, Pradhan. inaugurated the seminar. A large number of people were present from different walks of life. Shri.N.M.Bashir, Chairman, ARPAN welcomed all the officers and asked the villagers to come forward and avail the opportunity to set up various self employment ventures with the help of concerned departments. Officers from KVIB, ANIIDCO, ANCON, PNB & SBI presented details of schemes & assistance provided by the individual departments. Shri. Suresh Babu, Dy.Director, MSME gave a brief on the activities of MSME in Port Blair. As a special invitee, the officer incharge of ISRO also graced the occasion. There was a short one to one interaction with the villagers, wherein several doubts relating to project preparation and interest rate on loan were discussed at length. Shri. V.K.Verma Asst.Director, MSME thanked all departments and proposed vote of thanks.
