Education – Supporting programs that advance science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, preparing our next generation of innovators

Public safety – Making our communities safer by using our leadership in public safety innovation to provide resources to first responders and the communities they serve

Disaster relief – Partnering with humanitarian organizations to provide relief to disaster victims and providing vital support to emergency workers who are at the front lines of disaster relief

Employee giving – Providing our employees with matching programs in the United States and globally
 
Grants: The 2017 Motorola Solutions Foundation grant program is currently open. Inquiry forms for technology and engineering education and public safety education are being accepted through our online grants management database. Inquiry requests for public safety and/or technology education programming for domestic organizations and institutions must be submitted by Friday, Feb. 24, 2017; inquiry requests for public safety and/or technology education programming for international organizations and institutions must be submitted by Friday, March 3, 2017. The Motorola Solutions Foundation team will select those organizations with public safety and/or technology and engineering education programming that most closely align with our 2017 grant priorities to submit formal online applications by May 22, 2017 (Note: organizations will be notified to submit a formal online application by mid-April 2017). Grant award decisions will be announced by mid-July 2017.
