About PACS:The Poorest Areas Civil Society Programme (PACS) is an initiative of the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID), to work with civil society in India, to help socially excluded groups claim their rights and entitlements more effectively. PACS covers 90 districts in seven states- Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The seven year programme (2009-2016) supports civil society organisations (CSOs) promoting inclusive policies, programmes and institutions at local, district and state levels.  PACS targets socially excluded groups: scheduled castes (SCs), scheduled tribes (STs), Muslim minorities, women, girls and people with disability (PwD). About CBO conclaves

PACS intends to bring together the representatives from these Community Based Organisations (CBOs) so that the mutual learning and sharing amongst the various groups can be promoted. For the purpose, a CBO conclaves will be organized which would be attended by around 500 - 1000 participants. These events would be two day/ three day long events and will be conducted between 5th Jan 2015 to 15th March 2015.

About the assignment:We are looking for a consultant proficient in development communication, videography and photography and over time have highlighted initiatives and campaigns through powerful images.

We would want the consultant to report about the conclave, its proceedings, discussions, stories, anecdotes and participants experience from the site of the conclave through images, reports and videos and also provide communication support on the venue as well as online to PACS.

Interested and eligible agencies/individuals need to apply through a specified proposal format attached below. Application in any other format will not be accepted. Proposals need to be submitted through soft copy by e-mail to tender@pacsindia.org.

The last date for the submission of application is 29th Dec 2014. Please, note that due to the large number of applications, we will not be able attend to e-mail or telephone enquiries on application status. Only short listed consultants/agencies/organisations will be contacted.
