Small Grants - Fondation Ensemble

Activities: Others

Fondation Ensemble is a private foundation - recognized by the state as serving the public interest - created by Gérard Brémond and Jacqueline Délia-Brémond, who had long cherished the idea of being actively involved in public interest work. Their children, Delphine, Nathalie and Olivier, share their enthusiasm and support the initiative

For a  human development that integrates environmental protection

Its mission, that is clearly defined in the statutes, is :

"All actions undertaken take into account environmental factors and integrate environmental protection of all living plant and animal species".
(Excerpt from the statutes)

Three areas of activity

Water and sanitation, sustainable development, animal biodiversity: the Foundation's three areas of activity illustrate the founders' will to fight poverty and, at the same time, contribute durably to the protection of the environment.

Working together

In partnership with international, national and local associative structures, and funding agencies, the Foundation supports projects in direct relation to the needs of the populations; projects whose impacts are measurable over time and favour the emergence of local skills; and innovative projects, whenever the context allows.

Small Grants Fund

Created in 2008, this fund is intended to support actions implemented and led by small organizations.

The Small Grants Fund represents 15% of the Foundation's annual endowment.

Protecting species of animals that are under threat and/or about to become extinct represents nearly 50% of the small grants fund.
