Agriculture,Women/Gender,SHG/IGP,Youth,Others Genesis : Vinoba Seva Pratisthan (VSP) has taken birth as a result of the vision of a devoted band of persons, who have been inspired by the pragmatic and humanistic work-ethics of Gandhi and Vinoba .The organization is committed to offer a common platform for the like-minded people to be associated with the organization which aims to focus its efforts for the upliftment of the downtrodden and the marginalized masses. Vision : A just society based upon socio-economic justice,self-reliance and empowerments through the Gandhian principles of Gram Swaraj. Mission : • People’s involvement in their own process of development. • Amassing support by coordinating like-minded voluntary organizations and individuals for the upliftment of the downtrodden masses. • Inspiring and evolving leadership qualities for effecting management of human resources. Our Objectives : • Rooted in the work-ethics of Gandhi and Vinoba, all our actions have been based on the concept of “ Antyodaya” & “ Sarvodaya” which seek to raise people’s consciousness, specially the dalits, under-privileged, tribals, oppressed poor and women by working out self-sustaining development programmes for them so that they can be counted as productive citizens of the mainstream of our socio-economic development. • To work out practical steps for vulnerable sections of society for their capacity building through income generation programmes and other measures to successfully tackle the challenges, conflicts and calamities that may come along their living process. • To spread people’s awareness to achieve their own rights and to work for people’s empowerment for their own developmental process. • To achieve better coordination and understanding among the government machinery, NGO’s and the masses for effective implementation of action network. • To achieve greater efficiency and involvement of the Panchayati Raj System to bridge the gap between the planning process at the top and its implementation strategy at grass-root level. |
