SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working particularly in rural India, to achieve the following
objectives:-  To develop better co-ordination, collaboration, joint participation, relations and understanding amongst various constituents of the rural sector for promoting welfare of the rural masses by eradicating thirst, hunger, illiteracy, disease, poverty and by providing shelter and employment.  To assist and guide the members in obtaining financial and technical assistance for rural development program from the Government, corporate sector, NABARD, financial and other specialized bilateral Program.  To undertake integrated program for the upliftment and economic development of rural India and providing backward and forward linkages to the rural economy by allowing them access to the global technology, funds and market and for that purpose to set up commodity technology and rural stock exchanges.  To assist in the development of Self Help Groups (SHGs) of farmers including small and marginal farmers, artisans, labour including agricultural labour and other service providers with special emphasis on women, youth, differentially-abled and other disadvantaged sections for accelerating the pace of rural development.

• To identify with and work along the economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged - starting with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware.
• Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life
• And to that end, act as a resource to and collaborate with other agencies - governmental or non-governmental, as well as suitably intervene in policy formulation.
Vision The organization is committed to strengthen their capabilities to improve the quality of life of the people and enhance their ability that would come from education, access of good health services/ practices, agricultural production and active involvement in productive works. Youth and women, who are not privileged, by addressing the real need at the grassroots level and also enabling the civil society across the world to engage proactively in the change process following the philosophy of Civic Driven Change and adopting .
