Slums Arunodaya Sarveshwari Lok Kalyan Samiti About Arunodaya Sarveshwari Lok Kalyan Samiti :- Meaning of Arunodaya is the rising of sun with a new morning which means that we developed our organization for the rising of our rural and urban community. Present team consist of 29 staff worker, which are full time, part time and voluntary staff and has generated enormous hands of experience of working with the underprivileged communities. The team members have played an important role in community participation, decentralization, accountability, professionalism, giving identity and reorganization in delivery of service and streamlining the organizational systems. In the term of infrastructure and working environment, we have sufficiently developed all the management system over a period of time. Vision:- Creating a enablig envorenment & behavioral change facilitation through optimum community participation, capacity building, collectivization, advocacy, research, documentation, dissemination & sustained holistic dedvlopment of the marginalized and underprivileged. Mission:- To undertake time bound vaiable project in partnership with the vulnerable communities and like minded resource organizations from internal & external sources to accomplish vision. Values;- Being secular, democratic, gender senstive, community participation, professionalism, transparency, accountablity, peace and quality viable community based governance. Aims & Objectives:- To educate, train and motivate people to be help And assistance to the poor and needy. To co-operate with the goverment and other agencies in carrying out charitable and relief work. To undertake and conduct social service scheme for the benefit of the poor, orphans, distutes, street childrens, alcholics, drug addicts, physically handicapped, mentaly retarted, those suffring from terminal diesease and the like. To give food, clothing, shelter and cash grant to the orphans, poor and other in need and to grant donation for the support of the inmates of orphanages, rescue homes, rehablitation centre and similar institutions. To provide rilief in time of natural calamities like earthquacks, cyclones, floods, famines, etc. To work in partnership with, or support other group and organization who subscribe to these aims and objective. To facilitate family health awareness campaigns programme for the general community and increase knowledge levels on the preventive.
