Capacity Building Council of Rehmani Education & Social Work was founded on 15th May 1995 and registered in 11th June 1995 by a group of persons who wanted to propagate and disseminate education, good values, amongst the poor & needy of the society and to establish well run, well managed educational Institutions so that the society can benefit from it. The society is based upon the principal of Education to all. Vision: Empowerment of common man in any democratic society is achievable through grassroots activities leading to generation of confidence, enhancement of skill and capacity, networking among different social nodes, and alleviation of impeding conditions. Mission:To assist target people in acquiring quality education, better skills and professional abilities, social reformation, economic strength, and in leading a meaningful life. CRES With the above-mentioned Vision and Mission in view the Council of Rehmani Education and Social Work (CRES) was founded in 1995. It has been registered under the Indian Societies Act as a non-governmental organisation. It is also registered with the Department of Income Tax under 12A and with Ministry of Home Affairs under the FCRA. It is also enrolled on the website of Planning Commission meant for the NGOs. The Society has succeeded in mobilizing funds from different international agencies and government departments. Location The Society is working from its head office at Tanda of district Rampur in Uttar Pradesh, which is 189 km from the national capital Delhi and 342 km from the state capital Lucknow, situated on Moradabad-Nanital highway. Rampur is not only considered as one of the most backward districts of the state but also as one of the most backward minority districts in the country. |
