OBJECTIVES • To undertake and support different educational programmes. • To undertake and support health programmes particularly in the field of health education, counseling and awareness to ensure health for all. • To undertake and support a comprehensive planning for socio-economic development of economically backward class with the purpose of making them self conscious and self reliant. • To undertake and support pilot & research work in agricultural field including water and land resources management programmes. • To undertake and support programmes on environment and social forestry. • To develop a training & evaluation unit on education, integrated child development programme and integrated rural development programmes • To undertake research and development activities in science and social sciences and technology to strengthen the knowledge for local planning. • To study and publish relevant matters in socio-economic development and literature . • To conduct / organize seminars, conference, enumeration and research works. • To provide relief to the effected by natural calamities and rehabilitate them. • To undertake and support programmes to control the growth of population • To manage and administrate orphanage, nursing home, hospital, reading room, trust, school, college and other institutions in interest of community irrespective of caste, creed and social status. |
