Vision and Mission VISION “To empower the powerless by transferring power of education, justice, freedom, equality, human rights and dignity in the society so as to achieve gradual development in the mainstream as a human being” MISSION “To plan human resource development through SAFALYA Multipurpose Welfare Society (SMWS) by conducting need based assessment of the target group and arranging various welfare schemes for the benefit of the society” Objectives of the organization 1. to provide financial assistance to the deserving students. 2. to promote community based health care, family counselling, research and rehabilitation. 3. to promote socio-economic welfare activities for children, women and less privileged class of the society. 4. to promote environmental safety and organise tree plantation programme. 5. to organise professional training for Balwadi and Anganwadi teachers and motivators of community. 6. to organise various camps, workshops, seminars, study tours and research related to socio-economic issues. 7. to implement welfare programmes for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Tribes and Minority Communities. 8. to carry out upliftment of weaker section and vulnerable section of the society in the urban and rural areas. 9. to organise various carrier and skilled oriented project for the welfare of women in the society such as candle making, hot bag making, chalk making etc. etc. 10. to establish Montessori training and nursing training centres. 11. to organise sports competitions for the up-liftment of sports activities. 12. to start and maintain institutions for formal and informal technical / professional education and training. 13. to create awareness for self employment. 14. to create consultancy and counselling centres for family settlement. 15. to generate awareness amongst youth against HIV/AIDS/Child Trafficking etc. 16. to initiate rehabilitation programme for exploited children and women. 17. to assist the disaster affected community in rescue, relief and rehabilitation. 18. to promote self help group in different welfare projects. 19. to plan gram vikas projects in rural areas. 20. to organise educational programme for street children and their resettlement. 21. to conduct carrier and personality development programme for the students. 22. to start and maintain institutions such as hospitals, educational and training schools and colleges etc. Activities of the Organization 1. Since last one and half year, SAFALYA Multipurpose Welfare Society (SMWS) has been organizing training to the poor woman/girls to make electric hot bag. Till date about 50 women have been trained. 2. Women empowerment and SHG awareness programmes. 3. Sewing Machine Training & Marketing the stitched products. 4. Health Awareness programmes. 5. Counselling and motivating drop out students to the schools from tribal areas. 6. Operate and maintain crèche for the kids of the poor from the slum locality when they are unattended by their parents. 7. Promoting the farmers in cultivating organic farming in their respective areas. 8. Organizing awareness camps for the drug addicts from the slum and tribal areas with the help of local people *****
