Children Objectives. • Promotion of the welfare of the youth and safeguarding the rights of the youth to exist, develop and meet his/her life needs in accordance with international requirements; • Highlighted the youth problems and designing programmes or projects with a view to improving the quality of life of the youth in accordance with national development aspirations; and • Creation of the muchneeded environment conductive to the development of the youth socially,culturally, spiritually, politically, economically, as well as to other areas of human development. • To promote Socio- Economic, Health, Education and Environmental programs with emphasis on community self-development especially of the rural/ tribal areas by disseminating information and educational campaigns on the practical application of the research results and current technological community development methods and procedures. • To promote, support projects in agriculture, forestry, handicrafts and industry, which would be promote and benefit the public interest. • To safeguard, through rational planning and management, the natural resources of the country including air, water, land, flora and fauna for the benefit of the present and future generations • To preserve the heritage of tribal and its habitat which are now threatened by adverse factors • To ensure a favourable living and working environment by creating conditions which are necessary for the improvement of the quality life • To obtain maximum social, economic and environmental benefits by judicious planning of human settlements, with due concern for demographic policies. • Promotes educational development both in quantitative and qualitative terms, and makes special efforts to remove disparities and equalize educational opportunities for all students Our vision Every Inhabitant in rural Orissa should be self reliant and prosperous through optimum utilization of local resources. CCWSD is a multi-disciplinary non-profit making Research, and social service organization, in the Non-government sector. It has been set up to evolve and improve development strategies, policies and solutions by scientific and systematic investigation and analysis of development problems and issues of regional, national and global priorities. It is a multi-disciplinary body, which focuses on the problems of poor & weaker, that include urban slums, rural and tribal areas of the state as well as the distressed and deprived sections of the society in the development process. It emphasizes on the promotions of social and community development, protection and conservation of natural resources, promotion of sustainable livelihood and protection of human rights at all levels. Our Mission • To make a difference to the community by developing strategies that are practical, acceptable and sustainable with the expressed needs of the people. • To improve the quality of life through intervention pertaining to Education. Health. Livelihood, with special emphasis on empowerment of women and poverty eradication in a community for their sustainable development. • To establish a new socio-economic order in which the poor and the deprived live at par with others following the values of sustainable development, global common-hood and sympathy towards the weaker and deprived sections. • To Provide quality education to underprivileged and youth with a special focus on life skill education to tribal youth. |
