TO BRING A CHANGE IN RURAL PEOPLES BY PROMOTING DEVELOPMENT WORKS- SPECIALLY IN EDUCATION, SPORTS, EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Aims & Objectives:
To use the financial and other resources belonging or allocated to the for execution of functions of the Trust.
(p) To form the community organizations (cos) in the rural areas of Odisha.
(q) To promote the micro-enterprise development for the poor people.
(r) To initiate the conservation program and public education on conservation of natural resources.
(s) To manage sustainable development, women development and good governance, advocacy will be undertaken in collaboration with other organizations.
(t) To print and publish any periodicals, books or leaflets for furtherance of its objectives.
(u) To do all such administrative, managerial and charitable things as are lawful and incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above described objectives.
(v) To work as consultants and advisors in any field as and when deemed fit for the government, N.G.Os. and all such national and international bodies.
(w) To establish branches and offices in different parts of Odisha.
(x) Utkal Council for Rural Developmentwill work as apolitical and non-governmental organization (NGO).
Activities:
To promote the economic and social advancement of the people of the rural people.
(b) To promote employment amongst all society segments particularly in women through income generating projects.
(c) To initiate a development process in which the participation of the communities plays a central role.
(d) To provide general health facilities and special treatment of particularly focusing children and women’s health.
(e) To increase literacy level among poor communities (focusing girl child) through supporting education projects, computer literacy programmes, non-formal education and juvenile literacy
