RAAC is a voluntary service organisation, with the vision of raising the awareness and initiating action for economic and environmentally sustainable development of Coimbatore. The unplanned growth in building activities and the swelling population of vehicles are creating enormous strain on the existing infrastructure. RAAC has been formed to express these concerns of the citizens and to bring to focus the need for taking suitable steps to ensure the City and its surrounding areas are able to meet the future with confidence. RAAC activities mainly focus on three areas namely Infrastructure, Solid Waste Management and Environment Protection.
