Our vision : Creating the world where every one live with peace and human dignity. Mission : Working towards overall development of human race; Preserve Floras and Faunas which are endangered in the region and Rural, Tribal development in all spheres including Women, Children, Education, Health, Economic and Environment Goal and Objectives: To implement Integrated Tribal Development Programs with Agro based activities; To Formation, Linkage, Monitoring of Women Self Help Groups and Micro credit activities; To work with basics of Bio-Diversity conservation and Environment in Forest Land activities; To empowered in Health,Education,Economic,Social status & Human Rights of ST/SC/Women. ‘Public Welfare & Development Society’ is a small Voluntary organization working for the most disadvantaged sections of society in Erode district of Tamilnadu since 1986. The main objective of the organization is to give voice of the most neglected, deprived and exploited social groups and provide support voluntary efforts for their Health, Education, Social and Economic empowerment mainly, mainly to women. Its approach is to work directly with people at grass root level and encourage them to take active part in programs and activities. PWDS a Self Help Promotion Institution (SHPI) believes in strengthening community efforts in identifying and solving their problems. |
