Aims & Objectives -
1. To make the rural society aware about their rights and duties for
availing benefits under various developmental and welfare schemes conducted
by Government.
2. To provide sustainable alternatives for rural development
3. To prepare the rural youth and needy for gainful employment & provide
opportunities to alleviate poverty through capacity building
4. To facilitate efficient and transparent implementation of welfare and
development schemes
5. To provide reliable delivery mechanism for rural inclusion in growth
opportunities
6. Preventive Health Care awareness among rural communities including
sanitation and hygeine
7. Agricultural facilitation and provision of global linkage to rural
economy
8. Micro Insurance and Micro Financing
9. Technical / Professional Education to rural youth for improving their
employability
10. Monitoring and reporting corruption / inefficiency / delay in
implementation of welfare / development schemes
Activities (2008-09)-
1. The organisation has recently innovated cost effective and hygienic
superstructure for the BPL toilets being constructed under Total Sanitation
Campaign in Bihar. More than 25000 AGCR superstructures have already been
installed in various districts of Bihar.
2. AGCR is implementing Total Sanitaion Campaign in Purnia & Bhojpur
Districts of Bihar
3. AGCR conducted awareness campaign among the farmers for the modern
marketing techniques of the agricultural produce in collaboration with MCX
Ltd. in Mujaffarpur, Rohtas and Gaya Districts of Bihar.
4. AGCR is providing Micro Insurance & Micro Finance facilities in Patna
and Magadh Division of Bihar
5. The Govt. of Bihar has recently granted permission to AGCR for setting
up an Industrial Training Institute in Bhojpur District of Bihar
