The Sun Society (THE SUN) was founded in the year 1998 supported by the Indigenous People of the local communities, in and around Rampachodavaram Revenue Division under the Chair of Balu Akkisa for inviting and promoting the National and International Co-operation and to seek the solutions to the issues and problems faced by the Indigenous peoples’ communities in the ‘Target Intervention Areas’, such as Human Rights, the Environment, Development, Health, Education inter-alia Millennium Development Goals
