1Removal of untouchability and other social disparities, uplift of Dalits, rehabilitation of displaced and other persons in distress and/other charitable works. 2 Evolve activities and establish environmental education promotion units in both the rural and urban areas for a better change in environment through collective action at community level. 3 Promote better education opportunities for the resource poor community by establishing schools and facilitate on going institutions in both the rural and urban areas. To establish, conduct and administer vocational, professional, educational institutes, libraries and laboratories. 4 Establish local institutions/groups and develop their capacity for self-development and initiate micro financing to the members of Self Help groups. 5 To bring in health related interventions in the Project area and support to various health programmes like RCH, HIV awareness, immunization, women and child health etc. 6 To support in the national health programmes like- pulse polio, Dots programme, National rural health mission etc. 7 To make the community aware about the health and hygiene related issues through organizing workshops and seminars. 8 To provide medical assistance and set up Camps for Immunization, Cataract and other medical services for the benefit of general public. 9 To construct and maintain Hospitals for imparting medical services, and dispense medicines as may be required. 10 To work for the availability of 24 hours Mobile Ambulance Services for the Society/Masses. 11 To organize various health camps in the Project area with the support of Govt. and non Govt. organizations. 12 To work for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected, in the event of natural calamities such as floods, droughts, earthquakes, cyclones & volcanic eruptions etc. etc., and towards an organized disaster management programme by coordinating with such types of agencies abroad.
