AIM:To raise the status of the underprivileged, illiterate, poor and backward people by way of motivation and human resources development, thus building a self-reliant society through efficient and effective utilization of local resources. OBEJCTIVES: Economic Rural Development Society strives to implement the process of change for the benefit of the weaker sections of the population. It also aims to bring about integrated socio-economic development of the poor and the needy and to enhance public awareness among them of their rights and responsibilities. MISSION: The Mission is to facilitate the process of recognizing the divisive forces which have cast an evil spell over our society, leaving deep chasm between human being and nature, between man and women and between human beings on the basis of caste, religion and class. It will strive to encourage human endeavour that will tern the tide in favour of an egalitarian Society. Its Mission is therefore to strengthen human efforts to strive for a change that will ensure safety, security and empowerment for all those in the society who are blighted by poverty and lack of privilege and opportunity.
