Vision Statement Blue Sky Foundation is a non –profit, non –governmental organization, registered in 2007, with a mandate to propagate and implement various health related projects in the field of Reproductive and Child health besides Sponsorship to Rural Education, Youth Skills and Employment. Blue Sky Foundation is spearheading the beneficial promotion through meticulously attempt to inculcate awareness; knowledge and practice about all health hazards which affect the general public especially the rural population to lead a buoyant health throughout their life. BSF makes every effort to harness the vitality of the private sector to address the health problems of the low income and vulnerable population BSF/Programs • Generate awareness on deadly synergies viz., HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis in rural areas along with creating effective awareness on rural sanitation. • Provide Counselling and necessary rehabilitative services to the persons addicted to Alcoholism and other Drug abuse • Develop behavioural change programs and linkages for its rural programs promoting knowledge on Reproductive and Child health Care and good maternal and child health practices with the exceptional focus on Anaemia, Diarrhoea, Reproductive tract Infections, Childhood diseases, STI and HIV. • Roll out multi media campaign consisting of street theatre, puppetries, and wall paintings to increase the local knowledge of water disinfection and storage practices in rural areas on diarrheal disease, while families lack access to clean drinking water. • Lessen the burdens of the children who are under the age group of five years from malnourishment with the adequate provision of balanced and nutritious food. • Enrolment drive of school dropouts to the mainstream of Education, persuade the poor school children to determined higher studies through motivational, financial and moral support. • Implant the skills of innovations and creativity among the school going children in rural areas through workshops and trainings by networking with various organisations. • Provide entrepreneurship development programs for the rural youths who are semi skilled and skilled and striving for the continued existence in rural areas. • Collaboration with other agencies /organizations for mutually beneficial activities and to uphold the activities of the foundation in a long run. • Establish shelters for the aged people, destitute, orphans, physically and mentally challenged children. • Identify the children in rural areas who are extremely studious to facilitate sponsorship to continue their studies and to excel in the society. • Provide scholastic cum career counselling to the secondary and higher secondary students of government and non government schools on demand. • Skill development training programs on specific areas for youths and job placements according to the skills they posses.
