Activities:


1.To create an enlightened society in which elder people feel secure, confident and valued and can live with dignity Objectives Establish institutions/ villages for elders to provide required services for peaceful, purposeful and meaningful life.

2. Establish ‘Elders Clubs’ in the urban areas to provide opportunities for the elders for social, cultural and spiritual engagement and to access geriatric care

3. Provide extension services to the destitute elders in the rural areas with focus on diet, health care, geriatric care and self help

4. Establish “Elderly for child care” centres where elderly look after the destitute/orphan children

5. Establish linkages with various institutions and organizations to help elders to pursue their interests, hobbies and stress free income-generating opportunities

6. Provide health care services to elders to help them maintain optimum physical, mental and emotional well-being by establishing specialised hospitals, mobile health care and other care centres, or/ and by establishing linkages with health facilities and institutions

7. The trust undertakes to provide for/or facilitate the last rites of the beneficiaries in case of their deceasing in what so ever circumstances in accordance with their respective religious rites during their stay in the trust premises.

8. Conceive and implement initiatives to mobilize communities and societies to understand and embrace the value of elders within families and local societies. This might involve engaging productive activities for elders.

9. Partner with government and non-governmental organizations to ensure timely and high quality of health, development services and entitlements for elders

10. Promote, cooperate and render assistance to organizations, institutions and individuals working on elders with focus on standardization of services to elders

11. Test and experiment approaches to leverage modern technologies including information communication technologies to serve elders

12. Advocate and promote investments in elders and elders’ friendly policies with wide range of local, national and international government, civil society and other organizations

13. Issue appeals to raise funds and accept gifts, donation subscriptions in cash or in kind and any property either movable or immovable for the achievement of the objects of the trust.

14. To undertake projects, consultancies & income generating activities to meet the operational costs of the trust

15. Undertake research, generate evidence and use to improve the lives of elders 16. Engage in formulation and advocacy of policies and procedures which affect the well-being of elders in the society through networking and awareness building
