The Chief Minister's Fellowship Program - Gujarat

The Chief Minister's Fellowship Program is an extraordinary opportunity for the youth to be part of social service for the future development of our country. Fellows are placed with high-profile projects to make an exceptional impact on social development. The Program aims to prepare Fellows with an understanding of the increasing complexity of development processes and how to make effective decisions for positive transformations.

Under this program, selected Fellows will spend 11 months working with the Government of Gujarat in a specific Department or District of Gujarat. There will be an induction to the Government of Gujarat's operations, ground-level study and the challenge to contribute to Gujarat's development transformation. Thus, Fellows will develop as individuals with competencies and aspirations to benefit the public through their chosen career paths.

To be eligible for the Chief Minister's Fellowship Program, prospective fellows must have, as a minimum, a University Degree and significant and relevant work experience.

The Chief Ministers Fellowship Program will begin with an induction period for orientation and ground level study. Each Fellow will be placed with a Mentor who will provide essential guidance and directions over the Fellowship period.

Fellows are required to submit regular documentation of their outputs, this can be briefings, articles, presentations and other formats. Fellows are expected to demonstrate and document outstanding work and impact, as well as be building their knowledge and skill set for the development sector.
