Programme on “Utilisation of grant-in-Aid schemes of the Government
Programme dates: 6 - 8 January 2014 Vishwa Yuvak Kendra is a pioneering organisation in the field of youth development. It was established with the active support of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1961. It organises workshops, seminars and training programmes for the youth workers of grass-root level NGOs. Indian Government, at all levels announces welfare schemes for a cross section of the society from time to time. These schemes are either central, state specific or a joint collaboration between the centre and the states. Under the schemes the assistance is granted in the form of credit, training and employment to groups or individuals or organisations. India is a country of villages and it has been observed that due to the lack of information most of the people and the Non Government Organisations don’t take advantage of the programmes and schemes of the government. To make the people and NGOs aware of the programmes and schemes of the different ministries of the government of India and to sensitize them to utilize it in a better manner, the Vishwa Yuvak Kendra is planning to organise a three day programme on “Utilisation of grant-in-Aid schemes of the Government” from 06 – 08 January, 2014. The schemes and programmes of the following ministries will be discussed during the programme: - Ministry of Women and Child Development - Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports - Ministry of Tribal Affairs - Ministry of Rural Development - Ministry of Panchayati Raj - Ministry of Human Resource Development - Ministry of Health and Family Welfare - Ministry of Food Processing Industries - Ministry of Agriculture - Ministry of Culture - Some other ministries For full details see the following link: Programme_on__Utilisation_of_Grant-in-Aid_schemes_of_the_Government ------------------------- Other Training Progreammes: Capacity Building Programme on Community Driven Development
