SUMMER PLAY This year’s summer afternoons at MMC centres were filled with the enthusiastic clamour of children cheering each other. MMC arranged Khel Mahotsav - a festival of play at all its centres for two weeks in the month of May. As part of preparations, children displayed colorful posters in the community, and performed songs and dances on the inaugural day. Creative and colorful mascots prepared by our children using recycled materials marked the onset of the Khel Mahotsav.
The two weeks were jam packed with various indoor and outdoor, traditional and contemporary and both individual and team games and competitions at the centres. Children participated in the games, encouraged and cheered each other and showed an immense interest in different forms of play. Khel Mahotsav helped our children developed team spirit and leadership skills.
We thank all our volunteers and well-wishers who participated in the Khel Mahotsav and encouraged our children.
