Considering services to the Disabled as well as Eradication of Blindness Kalyanam Karoti was established on 02 October (Gandhi Jayanti), 1981, in the international year of disabled. The Organization is mainly engaged in the eradication of Blindness, Rehabilitation of Physically and Mentally handicapped by providing free Aids and appliances, Polio Surgery and Teaching, Training, treatment & facility of special school, etc. Similar help has also been made available to deaf and dumb, Cerebral palsy, autistic children and the Aged since its establishment. The Organization has been continuously forwarding in the field of providing relief to the disabled, partially blind and the elderly citizens of project area.
