Kootu-k-kural – or “Collective Voice†– advocates for oppressed people’s rights in South India by using traditional performance art through music, drama and storytelling. Our main objective is to provoke ideas and alternatives to overcome social issues by reaching out to the grassroots population. Kootu-k-kural’s professional team aims to challenge the audience to think about ways of contributing in the development of Dalit Empowerment and Women Empowerment, highlighted through artistic expression.
