Pragati Youth Organisation, Banahatti, is a legally registered nonprofit organisation under the Karnataka Societies Act 17 of 1960, dedicated to empowering communities across Bagalkot District and the backward regions of North Karnataka. Established with a commitment to social upliftment, the organisation focuses on improving quality of life through education, skill development, digital empowerment, and holistic community development initiatives. With valid registrations including Darpan ID (KA/2019/0249126), PAN, TAN, GST, 80G, and 12A, the organisation maintains full compliance and transparency, enabling strong partnerships with CSR bodies, government departments, donors, and development agencies. Led by President I. S. Babaleshwar and Secretary S. B. Gani, the NGO works at the grassroots level to deliver impactful programs in employability, vocational training, IT and digital skills, value-based education, rural outreach, de-addiction awareness, youth leadership, volunteer mobilisation, and community empowerment. Pragati Youth Organisation has been consistently implementing training programs, workshops, and awareness initiatives designed to build capacity, enhance livelihoods, and support the socio-economic development of disadvantaged communities.
