So, we have started extension programme for creating awareness among the people of farming sector by publishing a vernacular monthly magazine ‘SAMPARK AAPKE SATH’ Since March 2006. Now more than 1500 rural families are the annual members of ‘SAMPARK AAPKE SATH’. Our aim is to unlock their potentials through our unique and innovative articles such as Impact of “Sampark aapke Sath” among the Farmers from March 2006 to till date. NABARD has recoganised sampark aapke sath as the excellent vernacular hindi monthly magazine for the development of farming community and recommended this to all Farmers’ Clubs for monthly subscription. Now this magazine has become very popular among the progressive farmers. Our readers interaction with our writers & scientists increasing day by day. They are very satisfied with the suggestions of our team members. We are receiving regular demands for particular article by phone call or by letters from our readers. The basic aim of this programme is to create sensitization about the holistic sustainable agriculture among the farming community. We organize Kisan Goshthies and field days every month in different locations such as Lucknow, Barabanki, Hardoi, Varanasi, Chandauli, Allahabad etc. Our innovative concept of technology transfer to rural people is now gaining popularity among the rural mass. We distribute so many literatures and magazines for building their capacities. In Policy Intervention SSKS always raised voices for civil rights on various platforms especially for Right To Information (RTI) Act, Old Age Programmes run by govt. to benefit senior citizens, Widow Pension and rehabilitation programme for bringing widows from trenches of social evils to the mainstreame of the society, NERGA job cards, NERGA Payments and chid labourers rights etc. We had Started a helpage center named ``Sampark Sahyog Kendra’’ (SSK) in the slum of Chandan, Lucknow. In this slum mainly garbage picker community resides in a very dire condition. In spite of living in the vicinity of state capital Lucknow basic public amenity like health, education, sanitation, safe drinking water, alternative livelihood opportunity. Some of the major findings of this survey which we had conducted during February-March 2009
