Youth
OBJECTIVES OF ECAF Shall sensitize communities to become aware of their strengths and weakness and how to effectively mobilize resources for poverty reduction. Shall educate the youth about their dynamic leadership potentials in the upliftment of the vulnerable in society. Shall empower women and young entrepreneurs through micro-finance. Shall prepare the youth for better employment by giving them professional skill training. Shall bring the media closer to the pro-poor in rural communities. Shall encourage poor parents to support their children morally and with the least needed assistance in behavioral and good character formation. Shall support the opinion leaders on conflict prevention and good governance practices for accountability and sustainable development. Shall solicit financial support to sustain the interest and needs of needy children. Shall sensitise youth and communities on sound environmental and health practices and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) including HIV / AIDS, adolescent Reproductive Health issues and other deadly or infectious diseases. Mission: To ensure that all underprivileged children and the youth have access to basic needs as a tool for reducing rural poverty. Through sensitization on conflict situations, encouragement of good governance practices and mobilization of the vulnerable for crafting solutions to their plights.
