Vision of our Manam is an ?Inclusive Society? that means ? no one with any
disability should be forced to live, work or learn in a segregated setting; that all
individuals deserve the right to direct their own lives.
Mission
MANAM strives to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of persons with
disabilities with its main focus on children, young adults and women with mental
retardation, cerebral palsy and autism by
Promoting services for people with disabilities through community based
organizations.
Encouraging them to become functionally independent and productive members of the community through opportunities of education, vocational training, medical
rehabilitation, and socio-economic rehabilitation.
Advocating the rights of the disabled by addressing problems of discrimination,
marginalization and exclusion of persons with disabilities
Supporting research and planning, especially to studies, which promote
interventions to prevent disabilities and rehabilitation of the PWD, that can be
taken up by the community in rural areas
