The overall aims of “SIRD” are eradication of poverty, illiteracy and ignorance to make the people self-sufficient and self-sustenance through collective action in Mahabubnagar and other districts in AP. The broad objectives are. Organizing the poor community to work for unity creating equity and discipline to solve their problems by themselves through proper planning and execution of Rural Development programs. Based on need of local community and donor specific projects. To chanalize the human energies for constructive goals through organizing local need based community/farmers institutions, Health care, women empowerment, child welfare, child labor rehabilitation, micro finance, animal husbandry and creating awareness in various Rural Development Activities. To impart trainings in various rural technologies to enhance the employment and livelihood opportunities for backward communities. Promoting, safe drinking water, sanitation, organic farming, kitchen gardening, drip & lift irrigation management, To encourage continuing the thrift and credit programs among the women and men kind to solve the financial problems through cooperative movement and improve the better living conditions in prevailing society. To study and develop the natural resources like land, Water, Social forestry, Ecology through participatory approach. Promoting modern irrigation & agriculture for food security and improve the health status in the poor community. Revitalization defunct of LI Schemes and creating the rural infrastructure for sustainable rural development through creating rural livelihoods. To collaborate with both government, donor agencies and non government organizations towards fund mobilization, resource mobilization towards Rural Development. To collect / receive funds, contributions, grant in aid, donations, assistance from individuals, NGOs, Government and international institutions for the attainment of the organization objectives. To create an ideal society which embodies the value of good citizenship and to achieve excellence in all works of human life and society development.
