MISSION STATEMENT:
AMPA Resource Organization is a Non-Governmental Organization based in Akuapem-South Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana, which seeks to improve the health status of our people and empowering the poor and marginalized through capacity building, advocacy for the voiceless and participatory innovative programmes. AMPA believes in empowerment, accountability, transparency, participation and mutual respect. AMPA links up with other civil society organizations through networking and coalition building.
OBJECTIVE:
1) To educate the populace on HIV/TB, Reproductive Health, Malaria prevention and services.
2) To facilitate development initiatives of the youth and women in rural communities.
3) To provide a platform for the voiceless and the marginalized in the society.
4) To promote awareness and education on environment and climate change, water and sanitation issues that directly and indirectly affect the health and livelihood of the people.
5) Improve all appropriate measures to secure the recovery of maintenance for the child from the parent and any forms of human rights abuse and good governance.
6) To develop organizational capacity for effective community service delivery.
7) To facilitate networking with partners and civil society organizations which share common vision for experience sharing and mutual support.
