Women/Gender Mission- To empower and ensure the self-respect, dignity and right of the downtrodden, backward and vulnerable people by generating awareness, providing education, life-skill support, job skill training, right based information, counselling and psycho-social rehabilitation programme. . Vision- A society where backward and vulnerable people (vulnerable children and women, trafficked victim, people living below poverty line, and other stigmatized group) are empowered and their self-respect, dignity and their rights are ensured. Support to vulnerable children, particularly girl children for taking anti-trafficking measures, checking unsafe migration, prevention of child labor, campaign for child rights. Providing support for the children in difficult circumstances, particularly girl children working as house cleaner, domestic helpers, sex worker etc. • Elementary Education, Literacy and Awareness Generation - support to drop out children, non-school going children etc . • Strive for promotion of equal rights for male female members of society to remove the existing gender prevailing imbalance. • Having meaningful tie-ups and collaborations with government departments, NGOs and other institutions for cohesive efforts towards development. • Health Care Services and Community Based Health Initiatives • Employment and Income Generation, Economic Programs and Micro Savings & Credit • People’s Organizations, Local Leadership Development, Men and Women’s Groups • Community Development through infrastructure building measures like low cost housing, drinking water and sanitation • Act as a social change agent engaging advocacy, campaign and networking (Trafficking, Unsafe Migration and HIV/AIDS control, Women & Child Rights). |
