OBJECTIVE:- Primarily the objective was to provide services to the people but now it is mainly concentrated on the development of socio—economic position, awareness, skill and aptitude and also to make people self—sufficient. ACTIVITIES:- Our organisation works:-
● to help the poor and needy
● to eliminate illiteracy
● to develop the socio-economic condition of the backward class, i.e. scheduled caste and tribes, a part of the minority community, handicapped and disabled persons
● to eliminate the child labour completely
● to raise the actual status of women of the society ● to create medical awareness among the rural people ● to impart vocational training to generate self-employment opportunities ● to motivate the people for taking part in various Programmes taken by the Govt. Central and State in the interest of the development of the Country
● to motivate the people in plantation
● Awareness Generation Project for the rural and poor women has been sanctioned by the Central Social Welfare Board and our organisation has deputed an organizer, (female) for the necessary training. As per the norms of the West Bengal State Social Welfare Advisory Board our Organisation held five A.G.P. Camps- 2004—2005 in the following villages:-
● Uddoypally
● Kusumgram
● Kaligram
● Rayan ● Saraitikor
● Condensed Course Project of education for Poor adult women has been sanctioned by the Central Social Welfare Board for the year2006-2008.
● Sports Programme sanction by Govt. of West Bengal [Sports Depertment]
● Condensed Course Project [Cont.]of education for Poor adult women has been sanctioned by the Central Social Welfare Board for the year2010-2012. We involved rural poor women in our project from various communities such as Minority community, Scheduled caste and tribe. Follow-up activities are continuing after the project implemented.
