TRAINING AND EDUCATION ACTIVITES TO INCREASE THE ADMINISTRATIVE CAPACITY RELATED TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE ENERGY MEASURES
Programme BG04 "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" is financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2009 - 2014 based on the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Bulgaria and Kingdom of Norway, Iceland and Principality of Liechtenstein. Program BG04 "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" includes two program areas "Energy Efficiency" (Program Area 5) and "Renewable Energy" (Program Area 6) of the European Economic Area (EEA) and was approved on December 20, 2012.
Programme operator: The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism (currently the Ministry of Economy and Energy, MEE).
Programme Partner of the Donor: Water Resources and Energy (NVE) Directorate to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, Norway.
Purpose of the Programme: Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants. The program will contribute to the reduction of 35 000 tonnes of CO2.
CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS
The Ministry of Energy in its capacity of a Programme Operator for Programme BG04 "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" invites Potential Project Promoters to submit Project Proposals under the above-mentioned Call.
The main purpose of the Call is increasing the administrative capacity of the state and municipal authorities and institutions to plan and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy /EE&RES/ measures through provision of trainings and counseling.
The Call amounts to a total of 624,065EUR.
Size of grants – from 30,000 EUR to 100,000 EUR
The grant per project is up to 100% of the total Project cost
Priority will be given to Projects in cooperation with Partners from Donor states.
To support the preparation of Project Proposals and/or seek Partners from Donor states it is possible to use the Bilateral Relations Fund, which will provide funds under this Call, as from the date of publication of this announcement.
