Regn under 80G
80G Registration :Those organisations which are registered under 12A of Income Tax Act, can apply for registration under 80G & 35A. If an organisation has the 80G registration, can receive donations from individuals and organisations. After receive a donation the NGO concerned need to issue a certificate to the donor using form 58A (see attached). While filing the returns, the donor needs to attach a copy of 58A form so received, to get 50% exemption. To apply for the registration of the above the organisation needs to attach: • Certified true copy of the resolution of the society for taking up the project • certified copy of certificate of registration under the society regn. Act • certified copies of rules and regulation of the society/trust deed * Copy of your organisations' I.T.Registration under 12A •Certified copies of audited accounts for three latest years •a brief note/ annual reports for the last three years activities of your orgn. (if your orgn. If less than three years old then particulars of activities for the period of existence should be sent) • List of agencies who have been funding your orgn. Also mention the activities for which they had provided the funds, • Detailed project report of the project Cost break up of the project as certified by a professional.
