Organisation Profile: All the NGOs should have a brief information about their organization, its mission, goals, aims and objectives etc. In the HR Policy/Guidelines this information is very useful to have as for newly recruited staff, when they get this document alongwith their contract letter, they will be able to know more about the organization before they join. Some organizations gives this to the newly recruited separately in their Induction Package (see separate article). Some of the information this should have is as follows: a) Mission Statement b) Aims and Objectives c) brief summary of the organizations activities/achievements/failures d) Details of Area of Operation e) Details of funding sources f) Contact Person(s) and their contact details such as phone numbers, address etc. g) Organisation’s Organogram (see separate article) h) Details organisation’s main office and its field/branch offices with contact person and addresses and phone number. i) Information related to organisation’s legal status i.e. -Society/Trust/not for profit companies registration No. date of registration etc. -Income Tax Registration details - -80G/35AC registration details - TAN/PAN details - FCRA (Foreign Contributions Regulation Act) registration details - Professional Tax registration details - Provident Fund registration details (in the above case i.e. (i) you need to put the information whichever is applicable to your organization) Any other information that you may like to include
