National Federation of the Disabled-Nepal, NFDN
NFDN is a non-profitable and nongovernmental organization of Persons with Disablities registrated in 1993. NFDN in established to protect and promote the human rights of PWDs for ensuring there inherent dignity. NFDN works for inclusion and mainstreaming of disability issues in the national development process and seeks to enchance the participation of PWDs in the decision making process. From its inception, NFDN has been working for the policy advocacy, awareness raising and capacity building of PWDs and their organization. NFDN is an umbrella organization and it is governed by PWDs representing the member DPOs. NFDN is a cross disability organization.
