Over the past decade, we have provided clean, safe drinking water to over 400 villages in 6 states, reaching over 600,000 people in need. We are proud to say, we now dispense over a million liters of water daily! Our dynamic team of over 500 people is amongst the largest and most experienced community water centre operators in India. By 2018, we are set to become the first sustainable social business, in the world, in the field of clean drinking water. We now seek to expand our outreach and touch the lives of 1.5 million people in 800 villages across India.
Job description
POSITION OVERVIEW Major Deliverable 1: Fund Raising and Business Development. a) Execute the fundraising and business development strategy developed by the organization.
b) Raise funds and the meet the business development targets by engaging with corporate, public sector units, participating in Govt. tenders and organizing fundraising events. Major Deliverable 2: Donor/Client Engagement.
a) Develop a client/donor communication strategy and implement it to ensure deep engagement with the donors.
b) Ensure compliance with donor reporting schedules.
c) Ensure donor queries are responded to within acceptable timelines. Major Deliverable 3: Feasibility studies, Proposal writing and Developing MoUs. a) Create proposals and MoUs to suit the organizational as well as donor needs and follow through to closure.
b) Ensure conducting feasibility studies on the basis of which proposals can be constructed. Major Deliverable 4: Create visibility for NCWS. a) Create visibility for NCWS by representing the organization in forums, networking, participating in application of awards, conducting events and evolving and participating in the social media strategy. Major Deliverable 5: Competitor and Market Analysis. a) Perform competitor and market analysis on a periodic basis.Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications: MBA/PG Experience: 5-8 years of experience in the area of business development, working with Govt. Tenders. Experience in corporate / development sector is an added advantage. Key Competencies - Functional: Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in English and Hindi. Knowledge of water projects will be a bonus, Excellent Negotiation skills. Key Competencies - Behavioral: People Management Skills, Time Management, Passion for Social Entrepreneurship, Ability to handle stress.
