PF- How to take Advance and Eligible Criteria

How to take advance from Provident Fund When one wish to take advances they need to follow certain guidelines.  Advances can be taken and can be refundable and in some cases they can be non-refundable. The advances can be taken only for the purposes which are mentioned in the P.F. Act.   One need to fulfill the criteria for taking advances. Form 31 is needs to be filled with the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner for taking the advances.  Alongwith this, other documents also needs tobe attached as per the requrement. Advances may be refundable or non-refundable.  These can be taken only for   listed purpose.   There are many conditions attached to each of these.        The     advances can be taken by filling form 31 with the Regional P.F. Commissioner.          Various certificates/docs are also required, depending on the purposes as mentioned below:                        

 •House construction                         

▪ For buying a house or a plot                                               

•For making improvements to your own house                         

▪ damage to the property due to natural calamity                                        

•For repayment of  housing loans to recognized government  bodies                                                                   

• If an employee does not receive wages for two months or more                         

• For treatment illness of self or family members                                          

• For marriage of self/son/daughter/sister/brother                                               

• Post metric education of son/daughter                                      

• For buying Equipment for physically handicapped members
