NewsSnehalaya - The Home With Love Annual FunctionINVITATION to join us - Annual function to celebrate beginning of 10th year of our "Snehalaya - The Home with Love" on 22nd Aug. and 23rd Aug. 2015 being held in Snehalaya campus located in Jhansi Road at 16 KM mile stone, (NH 75), Village Sikroda, Distt. Gwalior- 475001 (M.P.), India. A. 22nd Aug. Annual SPORTS COMPETITION among children with disabilities (various Institutions from all over India are being invited to participate) from 10AM onwards. The games will be-Long Jump, 50 meter race, Sack race, Lemon spoon race, pot breaking race, caliper race, wheel chair race, Shot put & discuss throw, BOCCE, Musical chair and more.
All games will be in two parts for age group of 6 to 11 years and that for 12 to 18 years, for male and female children separately.
High Lights of the day -Presentation by “Gharana Fusion Band”, an Internationally renowned Music band B. 22nd Aug. Cultural competition from 2PM onwards Various events being held are - Drawing, Painting, Collarge, Rangoli, Mimicry, Singing (solo & group), Dance (solo & group), Instrumental music. Parents and teachers are welcome to attend and cheer the children. Lunch will be provided and programme will end with tea and snacks for all children and attendees. C. 23rd Aug. 2015 - 10th ANNUAL DAY of Snehalaya – 10 AM onwards - Flag hoisting and national anthem for all countries from where volunteers had come to work in Snehalaya followed by Tributes (Pushpanjali) to Dr. Meena Sharma on 11th anniversary at “The Samadhi” in Snehalaya campus near its entrance From 12PM onwards – starts with Saraswati Vandana -Welcome of all guests and volunteers. - Inauguration of the Dr. Meena Sharma Memorial health centre with multispeciality clinics in Snehalaya, having been renovated and expanded. -Release of Souvenir 2015 followed by Annual report. -Prize distribution to winner children in competitions held on 22nd Aug. High Lights of the day -Presentation by “Gharana Fusion Band”, an Internationally renowned Music band - Cultural programme by children and volunteers with songs, dances, music etc. etc. etc. ( Snacks and tea will be served in the evening around 4 PM).

CONCLUSION – Musical Evening by Gharana Fusion Band and other artists at Medical College Auditorium from 6 PM onwards till late along with exhibition there for handicrafts made by children with disabilities. ................ SOUVENIR 2015 - As you know we publish a Souvenir every year with annual report, news and photographs of children and ongoing activities. The Souvenir is being published this year also and will be released on 23rd Aug. 2015 on the annual day. Please send your articles and or messages with photographs at the earliest preferably by e mail (it should reach us latest by 31st July 2015) for inclusion in this Souvenir. Advertisements are welcome (ask Snehalaya for details). The Souvenir is distributed to nearly 30000 people all over the World as well placed on our web site for every one to see all the time.
