 Call for Proposal under Nanobiotechnology Proposal deadline:before 30th September, 2016 Eligible Agencies: Academia and Industrial R&D Units   
 Call Outline:Aiming to advance research and foster innovations in cutting edge areas of Nanobiotechnology, DBT invites proposals to address various issues related to health, agriculture, food and environment through basic and applied Nano biotechnological research interventions. The priority areas include but not limited to:   Design and development of new therapeutics and targeted drug/si RNA delivery vehiclesNovel formulations for existing drugs to enhance their efficacyDiagnostics for early diseases detection and imagingDesign and development of smart Nano system /devices for tissue & bone engineering, cosmeceutics and other medical applicationsNano enabled system for – efficient delivery of pesticides, fertilizers and nutrients in crops, enzymatic bioprocessing, textile engineering,food packaging and improvement of food qualityDiagnostics for detection of chemicals and pathogens in food and cropsUnderstanding the safety of nanomaterials/Nano systems in the backdrop of emerging regulations (Categories below I &II are not applicable)
The proposals of the following three categories would be considered and may be marked accordingly:
