The Kubota Fund:The development of the social and economic infrastructure in developing countries is progressing rapidly with the support of both economic and technical assistance from developed countries. Support of such developed countries should continue in the future, while development and stability of the economic infrastructure should gradually be left to the hands of developing countries themselves. That is, independence and self-help are the most important things. Based on this philosophy, Yutaka Kubota Foundation is a founder of Yuuto Kubota, the founder of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., for the purpose of contributing to the promotion and development of industrial technology through the training of engineers in developing countries , Public fund trust founded in 1984 by investing private property. Since its establishment, the Foundation has been implementing grant aid activities for a large number of trainees and researchers who have visited Japan from around the world.
Developing Countries Are Rapidly Improving Their Social And Economic Infrastructures Backed By Economic As Well As Technical Support From Industrialized Countries. This Kind Of Support Should Continue, But It Is Also Necessary To Gradually Leave To Themselves How To Develop And Stabilize Their Economy For The Future. Most Essential Is It For Them To Try To Stand On Their Own Feet. The Kubota Fund Was Established With This Notion In 1984 By The Late Yutaka Kubota, Founder Of Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., Who Contributed The Necessary Funds From His Own Property . The aim of the Fund was developed in a variety of fields by financing has a need to education and training. The Fund has, since its establishment, helped many trainees and researchers from developing countries All over the world.
The Fund's Activities (1) A person who came to Japan from a developing country, and conducts training or research on technology (especially civil engineering, electricity, agriculture, environment, energy, development economy, etc.) for developing countries in developing countries in companies or organizations in Japan grant of benefits to those who do (2) in addition to the above, the activities necessary to achieve the purpose of the fund
(1) To Provide Financial Aid To Those Who Come From Developing Countries For Recieving Training Or Doing Research (Particularly In Such Fields As Civil, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, Enviroment, Energy Or Development Economics) At Business Firms Or Other Organizations In Japan. ( 2) Other activities necessary to attain the objective of the Fund.
