Objectives: Effective ways to identify, manage and treat patients with chronic viral hepatitis aiming at walking towards the elimination of CVH in South India. Target activity is to guide the infected population and their family members with the coordination’s of hepatologist, gastroenterologist and health care professionals involved in the management of chronic viral hepatitis. At the end of the Project Completion: The barriers to screen, diagnosis the entire parameters of the virus for the therapeutic managements and guiding the infected family members of chronic viral hepatitis B &C is our setup. To find Effective resources for followup of the infected persons throughout the life time for outcome of therapy and antiviral response will be analysed. The identified positives will be taken care of through the project for the diagnosis, therapeutic management, protection of the family member of HBV infected patients through vaccination. Babies born to HBV positive mothers will be given HBIG and vaccine within 24 hours of birth.
