To The Director Respected Sir/Medam People Community Development Society- PCDS is a team of social workers involved in the services of the rural poor and the needy and enabling them the opportunities to take up the local issues by women joined together to serve especially the deprived women, children and backward communities from the rural areas of Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. There are hardly few NGO’s formed in our area and we are serving in 70 villages and the members of the society are from the local area of operation. Moreover, the NGO is based at the area of operation itself and the people could be reached easily and only a person who is well aware of the depth of the problem among the people could take up the issue in a better way, as we are from the same local community the acceptance is easier. The organization is involved in serving the rural mass without any barrier of caste, creed or religion and the total economic development on the part of the people is aimed at. We motivate them in self-development activities so that, in due course of time, they would become independent and work out on their own developments. The activities are mainly undertaken in the rural areas where there are very less basic amenities. The living conditions of the rural poor are very deplorable and it is mainly due to the poor socio-economic conditions. Our activities are categorized with 4 different areas namely Health, Education, Women welfare and Environment. We have organized more than 50 health camps, distributed educational aid to 30 villages and distributed educational material to rural children, the organization also plantation of saplings in more than 50 villages with 700 saplings till date. The organization is doing all this with the donations collected from the local available resources. We are herewith requesting you to extend your helping hands in serving the rural poor for uplifting them socially and economically. We are enclosing a detailed report which depicts our activities; also we are submitting all the documents required for processing our project proposal. Kindly consider the same and do the needful.
