THE GENESIS: It is very heart rending to feel the pain of thousands of lives living with numerous problems in some remote places for long ages. Pub-Nalbari, Madhupur and Borigog-Banbhag Development block is such a very remote and backward place of Nalbari district of Assam. Even today, the entire region is lacking the adequate facilities of basic amenities of human life like education, health, communication and sustainable livelihood sources. Everyday a good numbers of educated and uneducated youths compelled to go outside in search of earning sources. To emasculate such problems and to render service to the needy people in the time of distress a group of social worker came forward and deliberate for a common platform. As a result in 8-01-2002 a voluntary organization was formed by the name Janashakti Bikash Mancha (JBM). The JBM was come into existence as a unified platform of rural people, particularly of the excluded section of society for progressive contemplation,…… to spread the ray of hope,….message of love& peace,…. To raise voices for rights… to spread the fragrance of human excellence… among people in every village. Since then the organization has been rendering yeomen service to the under privileged section of the society and has been harvesting positive results. VISION OF JBM: Janashakti Bikash Mancha aims to create a socio economically empowered society where every people will live with dignity and peace. MISSION OF JBM: The mission of Janashakti Bikash Mancha is to create a healthy, economically empowered and educated society to alleviate unemployment and underemployment by expanding industrial resources and small business development while preserving the quality of life and to empower the weaker section of the society and women to take control over the social responsibility by helping them in need. |
