The objective of the organization is to work for the upliftment of the children, women, poor, marginalized and weaker sections of the society in urban and rural areas across the country. The organisation imbibes strong cultural values, ethics and integrity for every work taken up by it. The organization also maintains a zero tolerance with regards to work exploitation, sexual harassment & exploitation, abuse and financial anomalies and non-integrity in work culture and environment. In the professional work regime, the organisation looks to work in the development sector bringing in diverse brains and capabilities required for different types of work for different themes. It will also work to develop capacities of local institutions and communities for sustainable, people propelled development initiatives. Some of the other mandates of the organization are: • To provide technical and resource support to voluntary and development organizations in planning, implementation and monitoring of community-based development projects. • To implement Development Sector Projects with strong focus on Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Nutrition and Disaster Risk Reduction in communities and Institutions • To support organizations in developing professional cadre of rural facilitators • To provide desk and field surveys, research, evaluations and consultancy support. • To pilot and demonstrate replicable strategies, processes and actions which can contribute to empower communities. |
