ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION We are operating since 1st June 1993. BMKK got registered as non-profit organization under the Bihar Societies Registration Act 21/1860 in the year of 2000. it is also registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 in the year of 2002 and under the section of 12 A & 80G of income tax Act. And also registered with many reputed deptt. & organization. It is managed by a seven member executive committee. All the members the executive committee of BMKK are women. Organization has awarded by different govt. agencies like CAPART, Deptt. Of Women & Child development for women empowerment. Our Organization goal is to establish a progressive, creative and just society based on the value of equality and mutual help and the purpose is to organize and empower poor rural women & girl for achieving social justice economic growth and self-reliance. We have recently sanctioned grant-in-aid from Development commissioner Handicrafts (Ministry of Textiles) Govt. of India. For holistic development of handicraft Artisans under 5 year plan. Another we receive grant-in-aid from “FVTRS” Bangalore . for vocational training prog. in Zari work, Embroidery work and Appliqué work for poor women. In the past three years, we have also received funding from “DFID” Pacs Prog. UK/New Delhi for empowerment of women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs) promotion & women role in panchyati raj systems., Vocational training prog. For poor youth girls. (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports) Govt. of India., Central social welfare board Govt. of India., District Rural Development Agency, Bhojpur, Bihar, District Urban Development Agency, Bhojpur, Bihar and Ministry of forest & Environment Govt. of India etc. CAPACITY OF ORGANIZATION Organization has capacity to undertake various development programmes including training. Orientation programme etc. In the area of SHGs we have enough experiences in organizing them in the groups followed by the training , orientation . Mostly groups are doing thrift and credit practices and solving the local problems including the income generation programme. ADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEM For running and monitoring the NGO programmes and their offices at each level we have sound staff network dedicatedly looking after the programmes at different level. Our Executive body also supervises the administrative support system for delivering MANPOWER Organization has sound. Skilled, capable and highly experienced staff to run any developmental programmes including the training sessions on any issues. We have band of trainers of various disciplines to conduct the training programme in a effective manner. ► THE VISION To organize, educate and empower rural poor to promote development as a liberating force aimed at justice, economic growth and self-reliance. ► THE MISSION To establish a just society in which no one remains hungry, unemployed, illiterate and exploited. ► OUR CORE VALUES † Participatory development approach. † Mutual sharing of ideas and information. † Faith on knowledge and capacity of the marginalized. ► WORKING STRATEGY To empower the powerless, ensure the grass root people’s participation and facilitate their access to local resources.
