INTRODUCTION: GRAMYA VIKAS MANDAL is a non-political, non-government, not-for-profit, secular voluntary organization registered under M.P. Society Reg. Act 1973(44 of 1973), It has been working in the villages of Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Betul, Khargone, Khandwa, Mandla, Dindori, Gwalior and Guna, Jhabua, Satna, Rewa, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dewas, Dhar, Sujalpur, Raghgarh, Narsinghgarh for the last Twelve years. Gramya working specially in the backward and tribal areas where most of the people live a below poverty line life, are deprived of basic amenities for livelihood. The organization’s main stress is into education for all, specially the backward class, tribal and scheduled Caste. GRAMYA is developing its networking in Educational capacity building, action oriented projects and jointly hands orientated like-minded organizations for sustainable Self-Help Development. VISION: “Toward economical, socio cultural, educational up-liftmen and transformation to make a better society”. OBJECTIVE: 1. To develop interest and promote education among Children in remote villages. 2. To provide education to both children and adults alike. 3. To develop tools for quality education with fun. 4. To make the people of India self reliant through a process of Integral Self Help Development. 5. To educate the people to live with self-respect and dignity. 6. To promote healthy and safe sex in life among adolescents. 7. To improve health practices in the Society. 8. To Promote RCH programme for safe motherhood, reduce infant mortality and maternal deaths, RTI STI, HIV/AIDS and other diseases. 9. To Promote Vocational Training for self-employment. 10. To improve "Self Help Culture" for Integrated Gram Vikas. 11. To develop an idea for maximum utilization of available resources. STRATEGIES: 1. To establish “Schools and Education Centres” for children of various nomadic tribes 2. Establishment of Fully Furnished Modern “NAV JAYOTI” Library. 3. Provision of “Women & Child’s Development Center”. 4. Establishment of “Youth Development Center” in “Yuva Bhawan” Sanabal (Badagaon) Distt.Vidisha, for Networking of Local Voluntary Groups and Promote Voluntarism in Community. 5. Provision of District Level Health Center (Counseling & Service) for Awareness and to provide Health Services to Community, in Targeted Districts. 6. Provision of “Gramya Vikas Kendra” for Training Viz. Farming, Housing, Soil, Forest, Energy conservation, Water Harvesting.
