Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society (CORUS) is a voluntary non-Govern-mental organization formed in the year 2000. Further this organization was Registered in the year 2003 under the Societies Registration Act XXXV of 2001, Registered No.736 of 2003.This organization was Registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 in the year 2008 and also Income Tax exemption under 12A.The prime objective of the organization is to work for the emancipation and empowerment of the socially suppressed and economical exploitation groups of the people in the Kurnool Dist. of Rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh. • To organize the unorganized people in to the disciplinary groups. • To work for the social justice and equality of the socially suppressed and economically exploited groups of the people. • To generate self employment and sustainable livelihoods by organizing skill development trainings and develop linkages with Govt. departments and Banks. • Education, Health and economic equality for all the people. • To promote and protection of Human rights. • To eradicate Gender and all type of social disparities.
