INDIA MEDIA CENTRE (IMC), a voluntary non-government and non-profit making charitable Trust has been working since last six years for the benefit of common man in general and needy, unprivileged and suffering sections of humanity in particular. The Organization which was registered in the year of 2005 is now currently intervenes in the domain of education, health, animal welfare, human rights and media advocacy. Legal Status: IMC bears the insignia of a voluntary development organization with registration under the Rules and Regulation of Indian Trust Act 1882 in the Year 2005 bearing No. 1299/2005. It is registered with Central Government-NGO partnership system bearing Unique ID – OR/2009/0014557. IMC is registered under Section 12(A) of Income Tax Act. Vision: IMC aims at facilitating a process to establish a just and healthy society in which the poorest of the poor gets the power to maintain a better and qualitative life with equal access and control over the resources. Mission: • To reform the society through cultural movement. • To improve animal welfare and prevent animal abuse. • To alleviate human deprivation. • To empower the public Voice through Human rights protection, freedom of Press and Journalistic safeguards. Operation Area: At present IMC operates in Puri, Khurdha and Cuttack district of Orissa. Besides, IMC is also expanding the horizon to operate its various extension programs with brand coverage on emerging critical issues surrounding the state.
